I am fairly certain that I am no longer in Iceland. It’s true, I may have landed there, but I have been transferred into the galaxy. A quick trip with a fellow artist to Lake Mývatn and surrounding areas made this greatly apparent.
There is no way this is planet Earth.
Where ever I am, it is clearly important that I need to just be.
be still.
embrace.
observe.
take it all in.
collect.
I may not be creating physical objects of art, but the collection of these items, images, experiences is perhaps the most important part of the process.
